It is being said that the loss that Sridevi and her producer-husband Boney Kapoor may accrue on account of their bungalow catching fire on the evening of December 21 could be huge.
Sources inform that the police are completing their panchnama (investigation) and will maintain a document for their record. We've also learnt that the Kapoors had no insurance cover against fire for their property. We tried contacting the actress, but she was unavailable for comment.

Sri's elder daughter Jhanvi lost her entire wardrobe
The damage caused by the fire is slowly coming to the fore since the last three days. One hears that Sri's elder daughter Jhanvi's extensive wardrobe, including some of the best designer wear and a smart pret line, has been destroyed.
The girls Jhanvi and Khushi are staying at the Santoshis
The Kapoor girls — Jhanvi and Khushi — are staying at the Santoshis' apartment in Juhu. They are friendly with the filmmakers' children and hence are comfortable there.
Boney and Sri are housed at Sun-n-Sand
Boney Kapoor and Sridevi have a suite at the Sun-n-Sand Hotel in Juhu. They are also looking for a temporary home because the wiring in their two-storey bungalow as well as the painting, etc., will take a few months. Fortunately, for them, a large part of their furniture has been salvaged.

And finally, Sri is quite shaken up by the fire
One hears that Sridevi has taken this calamity badly. Though she has been a source of strength to her mother-in-law Nirmal (currently residing with her younger son Sanjay Kapoor) and her two daughters, Sri has yet to come to terms with the fire that gutted her home. Her husband Boney has been her pillar of strength and support. The diva is said to be slowly coming around.
