CPN-UML candidate Bishnu Poudel has been elected from Rupandeh-4.

UCPN (Maoist) senior leader Baburam Bhattarai has stood third in the race.

Poudel garnered 19,577 votes defeating his rival Surya Prasad Pradhan of Nepali Congress who secured 13,632 votes followed by Bhattarai with 11,934 votes.
